Lights On After School
The Lights On After School partnership is pleased to announce the 2008-2009 Grant Process which this year includes Tutoring Services (formerly DPS Success). We hope that combining these two application processes will save you some time, and help you to envision all of your after-school offerings as part of a cohesive design.
The new “Combined Application” incorporates both grant opportunities. Elementary and middle schools requesting both Lights On After School and Tutoring Services funding must use the Combined Application. For schools requesting only Lights On funding or only Tutoring funding, shorter applications are provided. Only one application per school will be accepted.
For full details on the grant process, see the Grant Process Overview document, available to be downloaded below.
- The deadline for grant applications is Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 4 pm.
- Plan to hand-deliver three hard copies of your complete grant application and all attachments to Crofton School Building, 2409 Arapahoe Street before the deadline. Faxes and emails will no longer be accepted.
- Please note that the new minimum funding level for LOAS is $5,000. You may request less, but a separate application is not available for smaller requests.
- Guidance Sessions will be offered April 8, 9-11:30 am and April 16, 4-6:30 pm. RSVPs are required - see full details in the “Guidance Session Invite and Agenda” document, available to be downloaded below.
