An A to Z grant helped build a classroom library for Steele's fifth-grade Accelerated Reader program.
Since the inception of the A to Z Fund, the DPS Foundation has awarded nearly $570,000 in A to Z grants, benefiting 125 schools.
The DPS Foundation offers A to Z Fund grants to fund innovative programs
or projects that further enrich the learning experiences of DPS students.
Each school can submit one grant application per funding cycle. Grants
range from $250 to $2,000.
The DPS Foundation will conduct two grant cycles in 2010-2011.
1st Semester Cycle Thursday, September 16, 2010
2nd Semester Cycle Thursday, February 10, 2011

All completed grant applications must be received at the DPS Foundation office by 5:00 p.m. on the specified due date above. Grant awards will be announced and communicated to the school principal approximately one week following the due date.
Please remember, total available funding is limited and grants are competitive. We do our best to fund as many requests as possible but not ALL requests can or will be fulfilled.
After the project is completed, we ask grant recipients to submit a brief final report on the program or project including accomplishments, challenges, unexpected outcomes, success stories and how the funds were spent. Final Reports are due into the DPS Foundation no later than Friday, June 10, 2011.
Check out the summary (PDF) of various projects and activities funded during
the 2008-09 school year.
Feel free to contact the DPS Foundation at any time to ask questions, share your feedback, or add suggestions.
