About us

The Denver Public Schools Foundation raises and manages funds to support the district's relentless pursuit of student achievement.

• We support teachers and classrooms, including a grant program for schools to fund field trips, materials and classroom activities.

• We support principal leadership development, including ongoing seminars and mentoring programs for new principals.

• We support after-school and summer programs that provide students with opportunities to get academic tutoring, play sports, learn music and art, work with computers, and more.

Our mission

In partnership with Denver Public Schools, we raise and manage funds, make strategic program investments, and serve as community leaders so that all students have the opportunity to succeed.

Our vision

In Denver Public Schools, outstanding educational achievements are the norm and all children have hope of a great future.

Our funding priorities are determined by our board of directors in conjunction with district leadership. We fund programs that further Denver Public Schools’ strategic reform efforts, as outlined in The Denver Plan.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
