ABOUT US

WHAT WE DO

GENERAL OVERVIEW

The Denver Public Schools Foundation raises and manages funds in support of the district’s ambitious reform plan – The Denver Plan – to improve student achievement.  Through top-notch professional development for principals, enhanced teacher training, improved curriculum and quality of instruction, student enrichment programs, and community partnerships, we are helping to reshape Denver Public Schools into the leading big city school district in the country.

MISSION

Driving community investment in our schools.

VISION

A community dedicated to making DPS the leading big city school district in the country where all DPS students receive a first rate education and graduate with the knowledge, talent, and confidence to become future leaders.

Our overall goal is to support the district's relentless pursuit of student achievement as outlined in the Denver Plan (the district's roadmap for strategic reform).  To view the 2nd draft of the plan, click here.
