Lights On After School

The Lights On After School partnership is pleased to announce the 2009-2010 Grant Process. 

The Tutoring Services (formerly DPS Success) dollars will be allocated through

a separate process, so that special review teams with knowledge of various

curriculum options can be recruited to review those requests.

  • The deadline for grant applications is Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 4 pm.   
  • Plan to hand-deliver three hard copies of your complete grant application and all attachments to Crofton School Building, 2409 Arapahoe Street before the deadline. Faxes and emails will no longer be accepted.
  • Please note that there are now two Funding Levels for LOAS - $5,000-9,000 and $9,000-12,000.  Please note that the higher funding level is specific to schools with a strong history of after-school programming.  See Description of Funding Opportunities page within the Grant Process Overview for full details.

PROVIDER DIRECTORY

Partnerships can enormously enhance an after school program, and are in fact required for LOAS funding.  To facilitate the involvement of partners, we are pleased to present the 2009-10 Provider Directory including more than 50 local providers who are available to partner with DPS schools in the coming year.
