Every DPS Employee contribution received by December 31, 2011 will be matched dollar-for-dollar to help our students and improve our schools.

Team DPS is the employee giving campaign targeting all 13,000+ DPS employees. The purpose of the campaign is to encourage all employees to contribute financially to the Denver Public Schools Foundation. Thanks to a matching contribution, all donations are doubled in value.
The DPS Foundation is an independent 501 (c)3 organization founded in 1992. Its sole purpose is to drive private investment in Denver Public Schools by building community engagement and commitment to our students, teachers and schools. Last year, this community investment totaled more than $9.9 million, and we have exceeded $21 million in support in the last 3 years alone.
The DPS Foundation supports student health & wellness, after-school programming, athletics, tutoring, summer programs, staff professional development and much more! It also operates the A to Z Fund, a semi-annual grants program for teachers and schools. Please explore this website for more information about the programs supported by the DPS Foundation.
We know that many employees are already incredibly generous with their time and resources. We acknowledge and thank you for this commitment. The Team DPS campaign provides an opportunity for employees to join together to make an even greater collective impact on our students, classrooms, and schools.
The DPS Foundation is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization, so your donation may be eligible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax advisor about the tax-deductibility of your gift. Note that if you win a prize for participating in the campaign (see below), you will have received goods and services as a result of your contribution, which may impact the deductibility of your donation.
The campaign will run from October 24 – December 31, 2011. However, DPS employees may elect to contribute to the DPS Foundation at any time.
DPS employees may elect to give in the following ways:
• Complete a payroll deduction form. This is the most cost-effective and lasting way to contribute.
• Give online here.
• Mail a check or money order to 900 Grant Street, Suite 503, Denver CO 80203 - or stop by to see us in person!
• Call us at 720.423.3553 to make a donation via a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).
The DPS Foundation does not fundraise for individual schools. We recognize that Parent Teacher Associations (PTA), alumni organizations, teachers and principals, and local businesses strive to meet the individual needs of every school. The DPS Foundation supports programs that reach students across the public school system and meet over-arching needs to drive achievement and provide enrichment in all 162 schools.
