Team DPS 2012 Exceeded its Goal!

We are happy to announce that Team DPS, the employee giving campaign for Denver Public Schools, exceeded its goal and generated $65,135, including Superintendent Tom Boasberg's matching gift. Since it launched in 2010, Team DPS has generated $167,342 to support critical programs and classroom resources to help all DPS students succeed.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the generous employees who contributed to the success of Team DPS.

Team DPS is the employee giving campaign for Denver Public Schools, supporting DPS students and classrooms through the Denver Public Schools Foundation.

In its first two years, the Team DPS campaign raised more than $100,000 to support students, classrooms and schools.

The 2013 Team DPS campaign begins on Monday, October 29th. All gifts made by Monday, December 31st will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous contribution from Superintendent Tom Boasberg. In addition, the DPS Foundation has been awarded a special one-time opportunity: every gift designated for the Fit, Fun & Literacy program will be matched 1:1 by the Salah Foundation. This is in addition to the 1:1 match from Superintendent Tom Boasberg. Therefore, gifts designated for Fit, Fun & Literacy will be matched 2:1. For example, $50 becomes $150, and $100 becomes $300! Tax Benefits

As a 501(c)(3) organization, donations made to DPS Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Gifts of $100 or more designated for after-school programs may be eligible for a 50% Colorado state income tax credit. Due to a recent change in state law, the credit will be deferred (but not eliminated) for all gifts made in calendar year 2011 - 2014. Click here for full details.
